Tee Times

The Senior Men play each Tuesday with the first tee reserved from 09:16 to 10:20

Competitions are run over 9, 14 or 18 holes depending on time of year and weather conditions

         Annual away trip – May 22nd, 23rd and 24th 2024

            Golf at Knightsbrook Golf Club, Trim, Co. Meath

       2 nights B&B and 2 dinners in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co. Meath

Costs

2 Golf, 2 B&B and 2 dinners  : €350 (Single room) / €290 (Sharing)

To secure your place a deposit of €25 must be paid before 1st February

Membership

Open to all Men affiliated to the Men’s Club who are 55 years of age or over. Annual subscription to STAGS is €10

Handicapping System

Winter Conditions.

Players play off 95% of their course handicap. 

Penalties are applied as follows: Winner of each weekly Prize category receives 2 penalty points
The remaining prize winners in each weekly competition receives 1 penalty point

Penalties will apply only for the winter months. 

Summer Conditions.

A qualifying Seniors competition will be set up on the computer. As is the case with the weekend club competition, each player will play off 95% of their Course Handicap. All scores will be uploaded to the WHS (World Handicapping System) at the end of each competition.

Since a player’s Handicap Index may reduce or increase based on the scores returned, no additional penalties will applied during the summer months.
