The GOLF VIEW Café and Bar was officially opened on April 4th. The menu is below (and Easter Special flyer below). Customers needed: please remember to support every time you play. If you want a café and bar at your club, your custom is needed!
The first competition in Golfer of the Year (GOY) is this weekend.
Preferred Lies
Note, until further notice, marking, cleaning ball and placing within 6 inches (no nearer the hole) is allowed on the fairway and closely mown areas only. (“closely mown areas” are those parts of the course cut to fairway height or less, including the fringes or aprons around the greens). You may place ball only once. If your ball is not on the fairway or closely mown area, play the ball as it lies.
No relief in bunkers (play the ball as it lies).

Winter Rules
Note that from Friday Nov 1st (until further notice) we will be adopting Winter Rules and there will be lift clean and place (within 6” but not closer to the hole) both on the fairway and in the rough. Competitions will no longer be counting towards handicaps. All bunkers are in play (unless marked as GUR) and the player can first rake the sand and then place the ball within 6” of its original spot and play from there

InterClub Success for Ladies teams
The Ladies Club had a big win in early July bringing home the first trophy and pennant of the season: The Connacht Womens Challenge Trophy. Team photo is shown in the Gallery below
Further success in late July with Bearna Ladies winning the Connaught Junior Cup pennant! The team then competed in the All-Ireland QF in Sept 6/7 losing out to a strong Malone team. Well done to all!
